Potatoes and Pranks

This semester I played on seven different intramural teams. It was the dumbest and best thing I could have done with my time. I had so many games going on every week that I made a calendar just for my teams (pathetic, I know). Don't worry I still did my homework and other things (ish).

A few weeks ago all of my teams entered into the final tournament. I had a game on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (each for a separate sport). I lost every single game. That Sunday I called to talk with my parents about my week. The conversation started out with how horrible my week had been. They asked why and I told them about all of my games. They just laughed and said that if that was the reason for my bad week then I must be living a pretty good life right now. They were right. And the good news is that things since then have gone a little something like this:

Playing with my two best cousins on my only remaining (and best) team. Lil Nuggz. Ashley is amazing at football. I will never forget watching her run from end zone to end zone (and eventually scoring) weaving through the other team as all of them tried to pull her flags.

General Women's meeting with Shea, Cait, Kim, Em, and Jos.

Sunday afternoon barbeque with the roommates and honorary roommate Michael.

Wiffleball at Kiwanis Park with Rach

That night we figured out that we could play four-square in my parking garage. The squares were huge so we made it doubles and played for a few very intense hours.

Emilee introduced me to Aubergine. It's healthy greek food. Greek is my favorite type of food...plus the healthiness aspect. AGH there goes all my monies because THE SMOOTHIES ARE SO GOOD. Everyone should go your life will be changed.

My very favorite office visitors/engaged couple/friends. I can't wait for these two best friends of mine to wed on June 26th!

April Fools day. My second favorite day of the whole year. Shea, Cait and I woke up at 3:00 am to pull this prank on all of our guy friends. Not pictured: 20 cans of opened tuna that we quietly (and strategically) placed in their apartment while they were sleeping. It was the scariest three minutes of my life. Also it took us two hours to fill 700 cups full of water. Plus we taped their doors with black tarp. And strung their stairwells. And shaving creamed a giant piece of tarp in front of their door. Ask me if it was worth it in a few weeks after I catch up on my sleep.

The aftermath.

Look what came in the mail! T-minus 17 days until graduation.

Easter party at our house thanks to Shea.

I got real lucky with all these pals as friends.

Tall friends in Sugar City

Michael invited a group of us up to his house this past weekend for Easter/Conference. Sugar is a small town right outside Rexburg. Michael's family are legit potato farmers from Idaho. His house is a magical place and we all had the best time playing and hanging out.

Last place with only six eggs. whoops.

Then he took us to the potato cellar! I am sure I'll never see that many potatoes in my life again. Nor do I want to. We were standing on thousands and thousands of them.

My life has never been busier or better. It is  full of so many great people and things and I am just so grateful.
